This collaboration was a labour of love. In 2025, 89-year old retired RCMP officer (and new songwriter) Ellis Craig, approached Leisa Way & The Wayward Wind Band to record this song. Leisa loved it, and agreed to produce the track. Leisa chose band member Brant Garratt to sing this patriotic song, and Brant's warm, rich and expressive voice touches the heart, and inspires faith in this beautiful country. There is no doubt that, more than ever, Canada needs a song to lift spirits right now. We can't wait for you to hear it. Elbows up!
